Central Catholic’s Dylan Johnson will continue his football career at Denison University, the school announced on Tuesday.
Johnson was a three-year letterman as a quarterback and receiver for the Crusaders and part of their 2016 Division V state championship team. He was voted team MVP, first team All-Northeast Inland District and special mention All-Ohio last fall. He also set a school record with a 97-yard touchdown completion.
A multi-sport athlete, Johnson earned 10 varsity letters at Central. He also played basketball and lacrosse.
Johnson maintained a 4.3 grade point average while participating three sports, student council, National Honor Society, Senior Leadership and serving as class president in 2016-17 and 2017-18. During this school year, Johnson was elected the student body president for Central.
