St. Clement/Holy Family Festival is June 6th, 7th, and 8th. Volunteers are needed to help and they need to know soon if they have helpers or not. QR code to sign up and more info is on GC. Service hours will count for next year.

A Special Congratulations: The staff and students would like to congratulate Mr. Oates on being inducted into the Stark County Amateur Golf Association Hall of Fame last night. Please make sure to congratulate Mr. Oates if you see him!
 
Honors English 2024-2025 School Year:
Any Junior taking Honors English 4 next year needs to pick up summer work from Mr. Hudnall in room 205.
 
Healthy Heart Club Mental Health Dog Walk:
What could make you feel better than walking your dog (or just hanging out with other peoples' dogs) and walking around our beautiful campus? The Healthy Heart Club will be sponsoring a Mental Health Dog Walk this Sunday, May 19 at noon! We will walk together around the campus on a route recommended by our cross country team. There will be games on the front lawn, and popsicles! The walk is free, we are just asking for donations for the Humane Society. These can be monetary, or in the form of pet supplies, such as dog or cat food, or cat litter. Be sure to come and join us!
 
Educational Tour:

Athletics:
Attention Girls Tennis Players: please stop by the main office to fill out the sign up sheet for next year's girls tennis team.
 
Attention Girls Soccer Players: there will be an informational meeting held in the community room on May 23rd at 6:00 pm for any girls interested in playing soccer next year.
 
Lacrosse won their first playoff game Wednesday night against Benedictine, 17-1. Ricky Salvino led the scoring with 6 goals, followed by Conner Thomas with 4 goals, Grady Noggle and Dominic Bogdan with 2 goals each, and Bryce Stahlneker, John Shew and Preston Scott with one goal each. Preston Scott, Conner Thomas, Bryce Stahlneker, Grady Noggle, Zeke Koontz, Kate Taylor, and Ricky Salvino all had assists. Defense held strong behind the leadership of John White, Isaac Ray, Brock Abbott, John Fabek, and Wes Zuchegno. Rocco Ross had a great game at goalie, allowing only one goal all game. The team faces Wooster on Friday night in the next round of the tournament.
 
The boys and girls track teams competed at the Norwayne District meet last night. Placing was the girls 4 x800 team of Allison Ries, Celeste Levengood, Lily Belden, and Lily Bentzel who were 7th, and the boys 4 x 800 team of Easton Miller, Grant Eberhardt, Carlos Cantera-Quintero, and Aidan Nasvadi who were 5th. Jonathan Stangl placed 3rd in the discus and will advance to the Norwayne regional next week. Good Luck Friday night at Norwayne for Day 2 of Districts! Team members are reminded to turn in their uniform tops to the main office.
 
Congratulations to the Softball team for winning Districts!!! The girls beat North Jackson Milton last night with a score of 19-9!! They play next Wednesday in Berea at 2:00. Good luck girls!

Varsity Baseball continues tournament play at home against Fairview at 4:00 pm
