Central Catholic is pleased to announce that another round of Crusader student-athletes have committed to collegiate athletics from the Class of 2025.
Isis Hall has committed to Walsh University, where she will participate in track and field and study exercise science. She chose Walsh University for their strong pre-med program. Hall has been a stand-out runner for Crusader Track & Field, earning Division III Honorable Mention, District Runner-Up, Regional Qualification, and MVP for the last two years. In addition to track & field, Hall serves as team manager for the wrestling team, volunteers as a CCHS Mental Health Champion, and maintains a 3.7 GPA. She is the daughter of Davone Hall. Isis shared that she will be following in her father’s footsteps, who was also a collegiate runner. They are members of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Austin Coy has signed to play baseball at Baldwin Wallace, while studying mechanical engineering. He says that he decided upon BW because he loves the environment, especially on their baseball team. Coy plays baseball for Central Catholic and has twice been nominated for Stark County Honorable Mention. In addition to baseball, Coy is a member of the football team, the National Honor Society, and maintains a 3.8 GPA. He is the son of Maria and Cody Coy. They are members of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
John Fabek will play lacrosse at Walsh University, while studying biology. Fabek selected Walsh because it is a Catholic university with a good environment, great academics, and fantastic lacrosse coach. He has played football and lacrosse for the Crusaders all four years, earning defensive player of the year for lacrosse. Fabek is also a member of the Spanish Club, Pre-Health Club, and National Honor Society. He holds a 4.7 GPA. He is the son of Heather Fabek. They are members of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Caleb Peloso-Miller will be playing football at the College of Wooster and plans to major in education. He decided to attend Wooster because of the school’s strong reputation and the impact Wooster’s Coach Dennis and his staff have had on him. Caleb shared that he appreciates the faith they have placed in him and the opportunity to excel on and off the field. Peloso-Miller has been a stand-out athlete, earning letters in three different sports! He was a 2 year starter for both Crusader Football and Crusader Wrestling; earning 2 letters in each. He is also on the track and field team, earning another letter in that arena. Caleb is the son of Nicole and Christopher Miller. They are members of New Morning Star Church.
Isaac Ray will be playing lacrosse at Hiram University next year. He has picked Hiram because it seems like a strong and supportive community. Ray is another three sport athlete, he is a member of the Crusader Football, Wrestling, and Lacrosse Teams. He is a co-captain of the wrestling team. Ray is the son of Levonia Miner.
Ricky Salvino has committed to play lacrosse at Walsh University and plans to study exercise science. He selected Walsh because of their exercise science program which leads to a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Salvino plays on both the Crusader Lacrosse and Crusader Football Teams. For the lacrosse team he has earned All Region Honorable Mention and holds two CCHS records, most goals in a season and most goals in a game. In addition to athletics, Salvino is a member of National Honor Society, and maintains a 4.4 GPA. He is the son of Kerri and Rick Salvino. They are members of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Conner Thomas will be attending Ohio Northern University to study engineering and play lacrosse. Thomas shared that he believes, Ohio Northern is a good school, with a comforting environment for him. While at Central, Thomas has played four years of both Crusader Football and Crusader Lacrosse. He is also a member of the Spanish Club. Connor is the son of Erin Cowan.
