Crusader football players volunteer their time

Recently, members of our Crusader Football team participated in a great community initiative, the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Stark County Playmaker Camp. Helping students with disabilities learn and improve their football skills provided both sets of students the chance to engage in the sport and also helped all of them build their confidence and sense of inclusion.

The commitment of these players to volunteer their time with this program and other community service projects reflects the values of teamwork, leadership, and service, which are values Crusaders learn that will extend far beyond the field. Crusader football players are encouraged to embrace a role that contributes to the community in a positive and meaningful way. We're proud to see our students live these values on and off the field, as well as in and out of their classrooms.
