St. Mary's Boosts Campus Security with New Door Installations

In line with its ongoing commitment to enhancing both the aesthetics and safety of its facilities, St. Mary's school has recently completed a key security upgrade by installing three new doors across campus. This project is part of broader efforts to modernize the school’s infrastructure while prioritizing the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.

The new doors, installed at the main office (Door 1), elementary building (Door 3), and preschool (Door 7), come equipped with advanced security features, including keycard access and reinforced materials. These upgrades are designed to strengthen access control, ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter critical areas, thereby minimizing potential security risks.

This improvement not only enhances safety, but also aligns with the school’s larger goal of creating a secure and welcoming environment. The updated doors represent just one facet of the school’s comprehensive efforts to maintain a modern, safe campus.
“Safety is our top priority, and these new doors reflect our ongoing dedication to keeping the campus secure for everyone,” said Principal. Williams. “We want our students, staff, and parents to feel confident that we are continuously working to protect them while improving the overall functionality of our facilities.”

The security upgrades, combined with other campus beautification projects, underscore the school's proactive approach to adapting its facilities for both safety and modern convenience. These enhancements offer peace of mind while ensuring the campus remains a vibrant and secure space for learning and growth. Other upgrades this year have included new flooring in both the main office and adult Ed room, re-carpeting of the bleachers, and updates to the youth center.
