This Veterans Day, the students of St. Joan of Arc School will pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country by setting up a powerful display: a field of American flags, each representing a special veteran in someone's life. The initiative not only honors local veterans but also raises critical funds to support our nation's ill and injured heroes through the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization.
The public is invited to take part by donating $10 to have a flag displayed in the field. Each flag will symbolize a veteran’s sacrifice and service. The deadline for donations is October 21, 2024, and all proceeds will benefit DAV, which provides life-changing services to veterans and their families at no cost.
The Field of Flags will be displayed at St. Joan of Arc School on November 11, Veterans Day. It will stand as a visual tribute to the heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.
