The students, with the help of a teaching artist from ArtsinStark, created a large mural for the school.
MASSILLON St. Mary students got artistic Thursday, creating a large mural for the school as part of Art Immersion Day.
Working with a teaching artist from ArtsinStark, students toiled away on the large visual arts project that will be permanently on display at the school.
The school earned the honor of working with the artist after students and staff collected the most during the Loose Change Drive for ArtsinStark, which pitted Stark County Catholic Schools in a competition to collect the most change for the arts organization.
The drive raised nearly $500.
