Student Organizations

Central Catholic is proud to offer students more than 50 different student organizations!
Given our smaller community, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer Crusaders a variety of activities and tailor our programs to student interests. That's why 99% of our student body participates in at least one extracurricular organization!

In addition to athletics, we have many active student organizations:

CAST (Service Organization)
CAST is currently planning their Trunk or Treat event on October 23. For more information, please see Mr. Vincente.

Esports
Do you love playing video games? If so consider joining Central's Esports team. The team meets in the 4th-floor computer lab, room 405 on a regular basis to play competitive games. For more information, please speak with Mr. Powell.

Drama Club
Our cast is hard at work preparing for their Fall Play "Frankenstein." Their performance will come alive on November 4-6 in our Black Box Theatre in Theatre 303.

Language Clubs
Central Catholic students enjoy three popular language clubs, French Club, Latin Club, and Spanish Club. Please see an advisor for more information. French Club advisor is Madame Russell, Latin Club advisor is Mr. Powell, and the Spanish Club advisor is Senora Carlson.

Upcoming Language Club Events:
French Club:
There will be a French Continental Breakfast Wednesday, October 26th, at 7:30AM in the Community Room. Please see Madame in room 207 for what to contribute. All Members are invited.

Spanish Club:
The Spanish Club will hold its annual Día de Muertos Pumpkin Painting and Pizza Party in the  Community Room on Thursday, October 27th, at 3:15 pm. All Spanish Club members are invited to  attend. Pizza and painting supplies will be provided. Bring your pumpkin and join the fun! See  Señora Carlson in room 302 with any questions and/or to join the club.

Music Ministry
Regular worship is a cornerstone of a Crusader experience. Our worship services are student-led; students read, usher, serve, distribute Communion, help plan Masses, and share their musical talents. Our Liturgical Music Group is looking for additional students to lend their voices or musical talents. Anyone who would like to take part in music ministry should see Mrs. Dick in Room 305.

Recycling Club
If you have time in your day to do a recycling job once or twice a week here at CCHS please see Mrs. Dick in Room 305. You would need to either have a study hall or have 5-10 minutes available before or after school to be able to take on some CCHS Recycling. This IS a chance to care for the earth and take part in something meaningful!

Softball
The Girls’ Softball team is playing in a winter league at the Hall of Fame Fitness in Canton. Anyone interested in playing, please sign up in the office.

Speech & Debate
CCHS is very proud of our Crusader Speech & Debate Team, they have a long history of success. Anyone who is interested in joining the Speech and Debate Team is encouraged to see Mrs. Harris.

Yearbook
Anyone interested in applying for the yearbook staff needs to stop into Miss Sharnsky's room, 218, to pick up an application.

Winter Sports
Girls & boys basketball, as well as wrestling, are shifting into gear.

The bowling team's final open gym prior to the start of regular season will be held this Sunday, October 23rd at Strike Zone Lanes from 3:00 - 5:00. The cost is $2 per game and shoe rental is free.
