If you ordered school pictures on picture day, your first period teacher will have them for you.

Mrs. Morrison’s classes are inside today, room 217.
Mrs. Russell’s 5th period class is to report to room 403 today.

Spanish Club:
The Spanish Club will hold its annual Fiesta de Día de Muertos Pumpkin Painting and Pizza Party in the Community Room on Wednesday, October 28th, at 3:15 pm. All Spanish Club members are invited to attend. Pizza and painting supplies will be provided. Social distancing rules will be followed so remember to bring your mask and pumpkin and join the fun! See Señora Carlson in room 302 with any questions and to join the club.

Campus Ministry:
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be held today, immediately after school in the chapel until 3:30. Come when you can for any amount of time.

Service Opportunity:
Soon we will announce what we are doing for our Thanksgiving food drive and Adopt-A-Family project. In the meantime, we need medium size boxes, about the size of paper boxes or a bit smaller, that food can go in. Please bring boxes in if you have or get some at home. Bring them to the hallway outside 305 anytime. We need over 200 boxes so start saving them now if you can!

The Alliance Catholic Worker still needs desserts on Mondays and Wednesdays! Anyone who can bake should sign up on Google Classroom sheet and bring baked goods to the office in Ziploc freezer bags or any containers that you don't need back. Thank you for helping with this ongoing project!

Athletics:
Boys XC places 2nd advances to regionals, led by Barrett Scheatzle individual District Champ, 1st since 1996. Crusaders took second place overall, helping Barrett were Max Grillo, Ian Paul, Blake Abbott, Nick Hallaman, Xander Shafer and Sam Garton.

Girls XC finish 6th missed advancing by 7 pts; team of Alyssa Mattis, Caroline Johnston, Isabella Olivieri, Brook Bajornas, Georgia Bentzel, Gracen Competty and Lauren Halas. Alyssa Mattis and Caroline Johnston advance individually to regionals this weekend.

The Boys’ Soccer team defeated Rittman 8-0 in the sectional final on Saturday. Zach Leatherman had 3 goals and 2 assists, Jaden Minarcheck had 2 goals and Grady Angerman had 2 goals and 4 assists. The team recorded their 9th the shutout of the season. The team will host Norwayne Tuesday night at 6 in the district semi-final CCVB fought hard against Waynedale this weekend and unfortunately lost in 3. Leading stats for the Crusaders were: Sydney Turner 1 ace, Victoria Black 9 kills, Kendall Compton 7 kills, Madison Heiser 7 kills, Gracie Turner 2 blocks, Elle Mason 23 assists, Anne Stephens 31 digs. Great job by Gabby Ricchetti, Grace Crane, and Gia Fuline.

Boys basketball official practice and tryouts start Friday Oct. 30. You must have a current physical on file to tryout. See Coach Creamer in Room #216 if you have any questions.
