Congratulations to our October Teachers of the Month, Mrs. Boggs, high school science, and Mr. Thomas, middle school religion! Both were recognized by the Canton Repository for their awesome work this school year, and continued dedication to our Knights! Here is what our administration has to say about each of them:
Mrs. Boggs has been keeping her classrooms engaged and connected! This year she organized visits from the Louisville Police Department for her Forensics class to create hands-on learning experiences. She is also engaged with our school community outside of the classroom. She planned the STA Homecoming activities and a PowderPuff game in October, all while being a member of the STA Auction Committee, an advisor for the junior student council, and the STA cheer squad!
Mr. Thomas goes above and beyond each day for his students. He cares for his students deeply, in and out of the classroom. He uses a real-life application for his instructional practices within his classroom, which keeps his students grounded in the lessons and curriculum. Mr. Thomas is active in our school community and even assisted in coaching our middle school football team during their undefeated season. He has been a great example for our students!
