COLLEGE – Loyola University of New Orleans

FAMILY – Wife, Anne; daughters Sarah and Hallel; son Tim; and grandson Noah.

WHAT SUBJECTS DO YOU TEACH? – Ninth grade Old Testament, 10th grade New Testament, 11th grade morality; and 11th grade Social Mission of the Church.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB? – Sharing ideas with students and seeing the looks on their faces when they grasp a concept.

WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR JOB? – Trying to keep up to date with methods that are effective with modern students.

WHAT SECRET TO SUCCESS WOULD YOU SHARE WITH STUDENTS? – Find something you love and pursue it relentlessly.

IS TEACHING KIDS THE SAME TODAY AS WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED? – I think that with the advent of social media students' attention spans have diminished requiring more types of stimuli to be incorporated into lessons.

YOUR STUDENTS WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT … – … I was a certified disco dancer in the 1970’s!

WHAT IS YOUR HIDDEN TALENT? – I can play the tuba.
