Community Message from Crusaders Boys Soccer

Community Message from Crusaders Boys Soccer

Our Boys’ Soccer team completed their season last night. The team lost their sectional final game to Loudonville last night 5-1. Bryce Stalnaker had the lone goal while Mark Parham made 11 saves in goal. Congratulations to our team for advancing to sectional finals. We are proud of you, on and off the field.

The team shared a special message with the student body earlier today. “The coaches and players want to thank the student body for attending so many of our games, we had an energetic student section! The team would especially like to thank the student body and staff for their tremendous support last night and throughout this difficult week for us and the entire Central family. Your support pushed the team to give their all through this adversity. Our staff and student body have shown why Crusaders are the best, we’ve come together. We wish the Girls’ Soccer and Volleyball teams the best of luck tonight in their post-season play. And best of luck to the Football team on Thursday night.”

Volleyball’s Sectional Game is at home tonight vs Warren Lordstown, 7:30 pm. Fans are reminded that we will remember Jacob Brown before the game, please wear white again this evening. To purchase tickets: OHSAA.org, Volleyball, D IV, Region Columbiana.

Girls’ Soccer plays their Sectional Game away at Wickliffe this evening, 6:00 pm. To purchase tickets: OHSAA.org, Girls Soccer, D III, Region 10, Akron 5.

Instead of our rivalry rally, on Thursday, October 20, our student body has decided to hold a prayer service. Crusader fans are encouraged to attend the rivalry game against St. Thomas Aquinas, at home, 7:00 pm. Please wear white in memory of Jake. We still have a special evening planned for students from our partner elementary schools, they receive free admission, spirit gear, and can run the field at half-time. Tickets can be purchased at GoFan.com.
