Many Aquinas Knights were recognized in the Canton Repository's All-Decade Boys Track and Field Team. Jacob Caniford and Cory Glines were among the 16 alumni selected for the "All-Decade Team." Honorable mention included: Matt Dougherty, Andrew George, Maurice Kirksey, John Laubacher, Ron Maksim, Jordan McKelley, Jacob Paul, Daniel Soehnlen, Ryan Terry, and Edward Walsh. We're as proud of them now as we were then!

RESUME: Helped lead the Knights to their first Division III state championship in 2016. ... Closed out his career by winning state titles in the 1,600 meters and as the anchor of St. Thomas Aquinas’ 3,200 relay team.
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL: Member of Walsh’s cross country and track and field teams. ... Finished third at last fall’s Great Midwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships in a career-best 24.35.9 over 8,000 meters. Later a career-best 31:01.0 over 10,000 meters at the NCAA Division II national meet. ... Owns two individual wins and one relay victory in track.

RESUME: Won a Division III state title in the 1,600 in 2012. Set a meet record with a time of 4:12.93. Beat future University of Akron national champion and Olympic bronze medalist Clayton Murphy in the same race. ... Holds school records in the 1,600 (4:11.83) and 3,200 (9:17.90).
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL: Ran cross country at Michigan for one season before completing his college running career at Northern Arizona. Member of the Lumberjacks’ national champion cross country teams in 2016 and 2017. ... Won three events in college. Ran a personal-best 8:53.25 in winning the indoor 3,000 at the 2016 NAU Friday Night Duals.
