Each year, our Diocese recognizes outstanding teachers from our Catholic schools with a Golden Apple Award. Congratulations to Mrs. Ally Alexsonshk, who has been awarded a 2020 Golden Apple Award by the Diocese of Youngstown! Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Alexsonshk!
Mrs. Ally Alexsonshk holds a B.S. in Middle Childhood Education (grade 4-9) from Ohio University. She began her teaching career in 2014 and and now is teaching fourth grade at Regina Coeli School. Mrs. Alexsonshk chose to teach in a Catholic school because she attended a Catholic school and has a strong desire to help children develop and grow in their faith as they grow in love and service to their family, classmates, school and church communities. Her favorite subjects to teach are Religion and Social Studies. Mrs. Alexsonshk also helps with the Kids Who Care Service Club. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
