Central Catholic held off Poland Seminary in the race for the final state berth in Tuesday’s Division II girls golf district tournament at Sable Creek.
The Crusaders fired a round of 389 to finish third and earn one of the automatic berths to next week’s state tournament. Poland Seminary was fourth at 391.
Kristen Belden shot 88 to lead Central. Kaitlin Belden fired a 92, Katie Bonar shot 103 and Caroline Harold finished at 106.
Laurel won the district title with a 366. Independence finished second at 374.
