The Canton Repository
St. Thomas Aquinas has announced the hiring of Diana Hoagland as girls head volleyball coach.

A Minerva High School graduate, Hoagland played at Walsh University and also worked for the school's football program. She began her coaching career at Central Catholic as an assistant and also coached at Green.

“Diana Hoagland is a great fit for our volleyball program," St. Thomas Aquinas President Dan Gravo said in a statement. "Her coaching experience in a variety of settings, including Catholic schools, will foster the Aquinas athletics philosophy of promoting scholar-athletes, excelling on the court and in the classroom. We are confident that under her leadership our players will see great success this season.”

Hoagland has coached Junior Olympic volleyball and in-house leagues at Elite Sports in Uniontown. She also coaches Little League softball.
