Mrs. Singer was brought up in the Catholic school tradition from kindergarten through collegiate years, is a 2004 graduate of Central Catholic, and has dedicated her career to education.

Singer was a teacher with the Massillon City School District from 2011-2022. She was the Social Studies Department Head where she taught one of the highest-scoring subject areas in Massillon City for the American History AIR test. She was the 2021 Massillon Washington High School Teacher of the Year.  

She received her Masters of Arts Education Administration Degree and Ohio Principal's License from the University of Akron and her Bachelors of Arts in Integrated Social Studies Education and History from Walsh University.

Nicole and her husband Adam, who is also a 2004 Central Catholic graduate, reside in Massillon with their three children who attend St. Mary Catholic Elementary School. They are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon.
