Mrs. Theresa Whan is a graduate of Indian Creek High School in Wintersville, Ohio, and a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has completed an endorsement program at Walsh University which allows her to teach grades 4 and 5 as well. While she is originally from the Ohio Valley, her family has lived in Alliance since 2016. Whan's family includes her husband, Josh,  two children, Clara and Nick, and stepsons Josh Jr. and Skylar. Her family is parishioners at Regina Coeli and three of her children have attended Regina Coeli School. Whan's youngest son will be in third grade at Regina Coeli this year. She has two years of teaching experience at the former St. Francis Central school in Toronto, Ohio, and also previously owned and operated a childcare business in Alliance.
