Mrs. Hilderman was born and raised in Bay Village, Ohio. It is a small suburb west of Cleveland. She attended grade school at St. Raphael's and high school at St. Augustine's.  She went to Ashland University and received a degree in Early Childhood Education. 

Hilderman taught for 10 years on the east side of Cleveland at a Catholic school.  While there, she taught kindergarten for several years, second grade for one year and third grade for two years.  When she bought her house in Carrollton, she relocated and is now teaching first grade at Regina Coeli.
