John retired from the Jackson Township Police Department in July of 2019.   He worked with the Perry and Jackson Local School Districts as a School Resource Officer and D.A.R.E. Officer, as well as many other functions in law enforcement before retiring and joining the Crusader staff. He attended Akron University and John Carroll University.
