Before break, the 8th-grade students from our Stark County Catholic Elementary Schools spent a day on campus. They moved from class to class led by a student ambassador, talked with staff and students, enjoyed lunch, and learned a little more about life as a Crusader. Our staff will visit our partner schools again in the coming weeks to drop off registration information and course descriptions, with plans to officially enroll incoming freshmen in February.
As we greet the new year, enrollment for the 24-25 school year has already begun! After continued enrollment growth over the last few years and our largest freshmen class in a decade during the 23-23 school year, we're forecasted to have another large freshmen class & growth in our upper grades!
In our continued efforts to offer our families small class sizes, personal experiences, discipline and a family atmosphere, we anticipate a waitlist in order to keep class sizes manageable in each of our courses. Families in our current elementary partner schools are encouraged to register in February, to avoid the waitlist.
100% of our families receive some level of tuition discount, scholarship, or grant. $2.2 million a year in tuition assistance and scholarships is awarded to Crusader families each year!
This year will be unique after the state of Ohio passed legislation in July of 2023 which expanded the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Program to allow EVERY family to access some amount of a state-funded scholarship regardless of income level. Families can also continue to apply for the EdChoice Scholarship if they are assigned to one of the schools designated by the state of Ohio as a low-performing school.
