Welcome to St. Mary's School!

St. Mary's is incredibly proud of our tradition and academic excellence.

We have been educating students since 1848!

Our mission at St. Mary's is to live our faith, strive for lifelong academic excellence, and leave the world a better place than we found it. By equally engaging the heart and the mind, we inspire and empower our students to change the world with purpose and understanding. Our students are inquirers. By asking "what" and "why," they begin to understand their role in the "how."

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to their students and our mission. Daily, they create an engaging, meaningful learning environment.

MRS. DANIELLE WILLIAMS, PRINCIPAL

The Diocese of Youngstown Office of Catholic Schools is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Danielle Williams as the new principal of St. Mary Elementary School and Preschool.

Mrs. Williams is excited to rejoin the St. Mary School family. She is an SMB alumnus and went on to attend Jackson High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Intervention Specialist MildModerate and her Master's degree from the University of South Florida in Educational Leadership. She has worked in Pinellas County Schools, Florida, for the past 11 years as a special education teacher, science teacher, instructional staff development coach, and most recently as the assistant principal at Tyrone Middle School from 2016 to 2022 before relocating back to Ohio with her husband and three daughters.

Mrs. Williams is honored to be selected as the next leader of a school with such a rich history and a reputation for excellence. She is eager to begin working with the wonderful team at the school and to begin serving our church community.

St. Mary Catholic School is a private, faith-based school serving preschoolers through grade 8.
