We are fortunate in the quality of Catholic education for all ages at St. Mary School. This comes from years of making education for our preschoolers through 8th graders a priority at St. Mary’s. We stand on the shoulders of our ancestors in faith. The outstanding faith formation and education programs are a gift that we need to treasure and strengthen for generations to come.
Our parish was formed in 1839, and our school began in 1849. Because of that, there are countless men and women who came before us, and we are bearing the fruit that they sowed with love, prayer, patience, and compassion. Now it is our time to sow the seeds of faith for our current children and for the generations to come by continuing to support our Catholic faith through St. Mary School. While this is not always easy, it is the role that we take on as disciples of Jesus, and every enrollment at St. Mary’s is a welcome blessing.
St. Mary School is a leader in education. We enjoy programming such as accelerated reader, advanced math, and project-based learning. Technology is incorporated into every class in each grade, not just a stand-alone class. We provide students the opportunity to take part in many and various activities that complement our academics. These include such things as athletics, student council, Art Club, Book Club, Power of the Pen, chess club, drama, band, choir, yearbook, and Lego Club. In addition, we take pride in our enrichment outside of our school through numerous field trips. Everything that we do takes place in an atmosphere of our Catholic, Christian faith. Our students not only learn about faith and a relationship with Jesus, but they put it into practice through prayer and service to others. Thank you for choosing St. Mary’s and sharing this time in your child’s life with us. May God bless all of us during the 2021-2022 school year!
