CCHS hosts SJA middle schoolers for a faith-filled day in the Grotto!

Last week, the staff at Central Catholic enjoyed having middle school students from St. Joan of Arc on campus. Central Catholic's Campus Minister, Deacon Randy Smith, led 6th-8th students through the Stations of the Cross at Central’s outdoor Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto. He shared how each part of Christ's trial, walk to Golgotha and crucifixion was perfectly planned to leave each of us with lessons that apply to our everyday lives. Some of those lessons cover topics such as human dignity, care for others, sacrifice, and forgiveness. Students also heard the history of the Grotto, were able to walk the Grotto grounds, and had lunch provided by the CCHS kitchen staff. It was a very meaningful visit!
