Congratulations are in order for Ky’ara Ross! She recently broke a 42-year-old STA Long Jump record at the opening track meet against JFK! Ky’ara’s first jump broke the old record of 17.7 feet when she jumped 18.2. On her second jump, she broke her own record when she jumped 18.4. What a great start to the track season! Ky'ara, a senior, has signed with West Liberty University, competing in sprints and long jump. Way to go Ky’ara!
