STA Alum Graceyn Dowd Choreographs Spring Musical

Did you know that Aquinas' own Graceyn Dowd is choreographing our spring musical, "Rodger's & Hammerstein's Cinderella"? Graceyn is a 2021 STA grad with an extensive theatrical background! We are blessed to have her assisting with this magical production and are proud of all the things she has accomplished thus far post-graduation. Check out the show TONIGHT, Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. or tomorrow, Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m.! Tickets can be purchased at RHCinderellaSCCS.Ludus.com.

Graceyn says she is thrilled to return to her alma mater to choreograph for Stark County Catholic High Schools! Prior to graduating from STA in 2021, she served as four-year Class President, National Honor Society President, and a 3-time Speech and Debate National Qualifier (finishing in the top 15 in the nation for Dramatic Interpretation). During her time in the Stark County Catholic School Arts Program, she was privileged to play many roles in both musicals and plays. A few of her favorites include Fiona in “Shrek the Musical,” Lizzy Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice,” and she was slated to play the title role in “Mary Poppins” before the pandemic. Graceyn recently completed her Communications degree at Cleveland State University and has moved on to pursue her BA in Acting as well. She is a member of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival, a distinguished Shakespearean repertory company in Northeast Ohio, and just appeared in their production of “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” (the “Enchanted Version”) this past winter. Some of her favorite credits include Fantine in “Les Miserables,” Sibella in “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” and Morticia in “The Addam’s Family.” At CSU, she was privileged to play Sabina in “The Skin of Our Teeth” and Lady Anne in “Richard III” at Playhouse Square.
