Congratulations to our Speech and Debate Team who recently completed another successful season. At the Ohio Speech and Debate Association State Tournament Central was represented by Abigail Glines, Nick Hallaman, Timothy Short, Kennedy Harris, and Michael Stangl. Breaking to quarter-finals, were team members Kennedy Harris, Michael Stangl, and Timothy Short, placing each of them among the top 6 debaters in their chambers in Congressional Debate!

At the Novice State Tournament, Timothy Short finished 4th in the state in congressional Debate.

At the Congressional Debate National Qualifying Tournament. Kennedy Harris and Timothy Short led Central to 9th place overall in the District. Timothy Short was 9th out of 88 entries earning him the first alternate position to the National Tournament, as a freshman!
