Central Catholic’s Alina Stebbins Signs with Wright State University


Alina Stebbins, a Central Catholic senior, has signed her intent to play for Wright State University. Stebbins intends to bowl for the university and study criminal justice. Stebbins has been on the Crusader bowling team for the last four years and has realized many accomplishments during her high school career. She is a 2022 state qualifier, a 2021 and 2022 district qualifier, as well as sectional champion in her junior year. Stebbins has been First Team All-Conference for the last two years and Second Team All-Conference for two years. Her high series is a 523, her high game is 279, and her average high game is 195. She has been instrumental in the growth of the Crusader bowling program over the last few years.

Stebbins holds a 3.25 grade point average. She is a three-year member of the Crusader Softball Team and a member of the Spanish Club. She shared that she selected Wright State because, “they have a good criminal justice program, a nice campus, and an excellent bowling program.”

Stebbins is the daughter of Kathy and Bud Stebbins. They are members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Canton.
