On Tuesday, April 4, the Diocese of Youngstown celebrated their Holy Week Chrism Mass, celebrated by Bishop Bonnar. SPJ graduate and junior at Central Catholic, Brigid Burke, one of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at CCHS, was selected to attend the Mass. Brigid was able to attend Mass, and received oils on behalf of Campus Minister Deacon Randy Smith’s parishes, St. Benedict & St. Mary. After Mass, Deacon Randy treated all the Crusader representatives to lunch. What a great experience for Brigid, we’re proud to see her continued commitment to her Catholic faith.
