October 4 is the Feast Day of St. Francis Assisi. St. Francis is the patron Saint of Animals and the Environment. Each year, we celebrate this day by hosting a Pet Blessing and to ask St. Francis to please keep our companions safe and healthy. This year, due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, SS. Philip and James hosted the blessing of the pets virtually! Thank you, eighth-grade students and Mrs. Flory for putting together this special tribute to our furry friends.
