Ms. Kimberly Ricchetti Honored with Golden Apple Award

St. Michael School is celebrating after one of its teachers, Ms. Kimberly Ricchetti, was named a recipient of the prestigious Golden Apple Award from the Diocese of Youngstown. The annual award, funded by the Donahue Family Foundation of Pittsburgh, recognizes six exceptional teachers and one outstanding principal across the diocese's Catholic schools.

Ms. Ricchetti stood out among many impressive candidates for her outstanding commitment to her students, strong leadership abilities, skillful teaching methods, and embodiment of Catholic values in her work. She is lauded by colleagues for creating an innovative and engaging classroom environment. Her caring mentorship of students and active involvement in church and community service activities beyond her teaching duties, makes her most deserving of this award. Ms. Ricchetti and other honorees were formally celebrated at an awards dinner on May 1, 2024 at the Youngstown Country Club.
