Crusaders Football has also made The Repository's Stark County-Area High School Football Top 5 Power Poll. CCHS comes in at #3 under the small school category.
From The Repository:
Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (3-2)
After an 0-2 start to the season, the Crusaders have roared back with three straight wins, the most impressive a 48-46 shootout win at Alliance on Friday. Senior Dan Boron had himself a night, with 261 yards rushing on 24 carries, another 70 yards on three receptions and three touchdowns overall. QB Brennan Betz ran for three touchdowns and passed for two more. Central, which jumps back up into the power poll for the first time since Week 1, will have to be on its game to extend the winning streak to four. This week, it travels to 4-1 Mentor Lake Catholic, which just handed Kenston its first defeat. To read more of the article written by Josh Weir, visit The Repository.

No matter those tallies, we’re proud to have our athletes recognized and the talents of our scholar-athletes celebrated. We might be a “small school” but we’re strong contenders and our #CentralCatholicDifference is realized in many different ways, including on the field and on the court!
