Service is Faith in Action, Instilling Lessons that Last a Lifetime
At Central Catholic, we believe service is more than a requirement; it is an opportunity to live out our faith, grow in compassion, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Through service experiences both within our school and throughout the community, students are challenged to become leaders who serve with humility, kindness, and integrity. We hope that each student develops a lifelong commitment to helping others and recognizing the dignity of every person.
Students are asked to complete the following service hours each year:
Freshmen - 10 hours
Sophomores - 10 hours
Juniors - 15 hours
Seniors - 20 hours
Service Information for Current Students
An important part of a Crusader experience is learning more about faith, leadership, and service to others. We hope that each student will see the difference one person can make! Students can find their own forms of service, or we continually offer service opportunities, both on campus and off, that span a wide range of interests, time commitments, and availability. Service opportunities can be found in the MobileService App under "Opportunities." Students can sign up for service opportunities as well as track their hours on the MobileService App.
Service Request For Community Organizations
Community organizations, churches, nonprofits, and local groups are invited to submit service opportunities for consideration. Approved opportunities will be shared with students. Please complete the form below to request a service opportunity posting. Requests will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified within 72 hours regarding approval status. Please note that approval does not guarantee student participation, as all opportunities are voluntary. To have your opportunity considered for inclusion on MobileService, please visit the Google Form listed below.
