Joanne Zahler has been teaching art at Central Catholic for decades. She brings out the inner artist of every student, from the student taking an elective to the student who is creating a portfolio, bound for art school. Year after year, her students win prestigious art shows, she helps senior leaders create beautiful banners to represent their class so that they are represented in the halls of Central Catholic for years to come, she leads a student Art Club, and helped students create a living Rosary representing multiple countries installed at the school’s outdoor Grotto. She has been instrumental in encouraging each student to find their talents and in creating much of the beautiful pieces found on campus.
