Varsity Girls Bowling is State Bound

The Girls Bowling team competed in the Northeast D2 District Tournament on Saturday, February 26th in Struthers, Ohio.  The team qualified for the State Tournament by finishing 3rd.  The team was led by Alina Stebbins with a 594 series including games of 201-212-181 (9th place individually); Alex Vargo bowled a 577 series with games of 161-195-221 (12th place individually); Sarah Colucy rolled a 540 series with games of 141-190-209 (18th place individually); Amanda Varacky had a 521 series with games of 182-185-154 (31st place individually); Oriana Smith added a 153 game, and Junior Isabella Vargo had games of  124 and 112.  This is the first trip to the OHSAA State Bowling tournament for Central Catholic's bowling program. The Crusaders will compete at Wayne Webb Columbus Bowl tomorrow, Saturday, March 5th. Good luck, Lady Crusaders!
