Monday, April 19
Any student looking for summer work, Canton Chair is hiring. Just stop by their office at 4850 Southway Street SW, Canton or call 330.477.7719.

Club Pictures – All Students: TOMORROW we will have club pictures starting at 8:15am in the gym. Students will be called over the PA when the photographer is ready for their group/club.

CAST:
CAST is meeting at 7:30 tomorrow morning, April 20th, in room 301 to make prayer squares for the community. Please come!!

Campus Ministry:
We will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel immediately after school today until 3:30. Come when you can and for any amount of time. This is a wonderful opportunity for some peaceful, quiet prayer and reflection time in the midst of our busy days!

Service:
We have an opportunity to get involved with Stark Parks. Earth Day is approaching! This is a great time to take some action to help keep the Earth and all the plants and animals healthy! You can now sign up to become a Stark Parks student member! Stark Parks keeps the parks in our community clean and well kept, sponsors activities and provides us with many fun places to visit. Members get a walking stick and one free kayak rental. For more information, see Mr Sicker or Brigid Burke.

We need baked goods for the Alliance Catholic Worker meals! Please bring in tomorrow in Ziploc freezer bags or containers you don't need back. Still a way we can help feed the hungry in our area during these difficult times! Let's keep doing this to help where we can!! You can sign up on your Google classroom page.

The Red Cross has several outreach programs for interested students. Their Summer Corps program allows students to volunteer at Red Cross blood drives during the summer to help greet, check-in, and thank donors. The application deadline for this program is April 30th. Prom:
Prom tickets will be sold this week ONLY from Miss Sharnsky before or after school 7:30-7:55 am or 3:00-3:20 pm - April 19th through the 23rd. Tickets are $50 per person. Checks should be made out to CCHS. Due to COVID we will not be allowing any purchases after that time. Reminder only juniors and seniors from CCHS may attend!

Sports:
On Saturday at the Marlington Invitational, the boys track and field team placed 5th out of 8 teams with 64 points. Placing in the meet: Max Grillo (1st place), T'Kye Wells, Barrett Scheatzle, Blake Abbott, Ian Paul, Aaron Fox, Ethan Kestel-Porter, Ethan Moorhead and Giani Petersen.

On Saturday at the Marlington Invitational, the girls track and field team placed 7th out of 8 teams with 35 points. Placing in the meet: Alyssa Mattis, Grace Crane, Isis Pittman, Lily Heck, Serena Langenfeld, Georgia Bentzel, Suzanna Codispoti, Kristen Belden, Morgan Phillips, Analisa Manson, Anna Winkhart and Allison Ries. Good luck Tuesday against St. Vincent-St. Mary along with Our Lady of the Elms.

Sports:
Softball beat Central Christian 9-2 last evening!

Yesterday, the Boys’ tennis team defeated Akron Hoban by the score of 4/1. The doubles teams of Mark and Michael Ascani as well as Chase Elson and Anthony Moauro earned doubles victories. Michael Stangl and Jac Compton earned singles victories. The team's record is now 5-2.

On Tuesday afternoon, the boys track and field team was defeated by St. Vincent-St. Mary 73-46. Placing for Central were Barrett Scheatzle, Max Grillo, Ian Paul, Blake Abbott, Sean Domer, T’Kye Wells, Mike Monastra, Ethan Kestel-Porter. Girls also lost, placing for the girls were Grace Crane, Caroline Crane, Suzanna Codispoti, Morgan Phillips, Elizabeth Johnston, Analisa Manson Georgia Bentzel, Alyssa Mattis and Isis Pittman.

Thursday, April 22
Drama Department:
Next weekend, April 30th, May 1st and 2nd, come see the Drama Departments spring play "Anne of Green Gables". Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30, Sunday at 4 in theater 305.
