CCHS welcomes SJA for Stations of the Cross

Last week, we welcomed the middle school students from St. Joan of Arc. Central Catholic's Campus Minister, Deacon Randy, led more than 100 students and their teachers, in two groups, through the Stations of the Cross outside at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto. He shared how each part of Christ's trial, walk to Golgotha and crucifixion was perfectly planned to leave each of us with lessons that apply to our everyday lives. Some of those lessons cover topics such as human dignity, care for others, sacrifice, and forgiveness. SJA students also heard the history of our Grotto, were able to walk the Grotto grounds, and had lunch provided by our CCHS kitchen staff. Deacon Randy & members of our student ministry team will be visiting several schools over the coming weeks to share lessons about our faith and to demonstrate how we can apply our faith to any situation.
