Crusaders Soccer Teams Beats McKinley

Congratulations to our Crusaders Soccer Teams, both our Girls and Boys Teams soundly beat McKinley over the weekend.

On Saturday, the Girls’ Soccer team beat McKinley 7-1. The seven goals were scored by Viviana Marshall, Ellie Buckler, Sarah Belden, and Anna Minarcheck. Outstanding defense was played by Sara Schmidt, Elizabeth Johnston, Suzanna Codispoti, Hannah Dolan, and Ella Frabotta. Great job, ladies!

The Boys’ Soccer team defeated McKinley 5-0 on Saturday night. Ethan Moorhead scored 2 goals and Grady Angerman, Vince Pena, and Bryce Stalnaker each scored one. Five different players recorded assists with Max Held, Jeremiah Watts, and Jacob Brown each getting their first of the season. The defense worked hard all night to allow only 1 shot on goal and to record their first shutout of the season! Way to go, guys!

Both teams take on Berlin Hiland, away, on Tuesday, September 13th. Good luck, Crusaders!
