Scholarship Granting Organization Tax Credit

As a result of legislation passed in 2021, Ohio taxpayers who wish to support Catholic education in Ohio now have the opportunity to receive a tax credit for their donations.
Gifts, of up to $750 per individual, made to certified organizations that grant scholarships to K-12 students, can be claimed as tax credits on the state of Ohio tax forms.
Giving a gift to a Student Granting Organization (SGO) will allow interested donors to reduce their Ohio income tax liability on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $750 per person per year ($1,500 if married filing jointly) by providing donors with a tax credit against their Ohio income tax liability.
Central Catholic has partnered with two School Granting Organizations to help make giving easier for our donors. Donations to our SGO's earmarked for CCHS, will help us continue to make a Central Catholic education affordable for all families.
