On Monday, our Girls' Basketball team hosted Southeast and came away with two victories. The JV team started out the night in dominating fashion with a 32-15 victory. Celeste Levengood and Molly Marceric led the way with 8 points each. The varsity started right where the JV left off with an 8-0 start and eventual 43-32 final. Lily Belden posted 14 points to lead the team. Makayla Johnson finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds to record her fifth double-double of the year. Both teams have been shooting the ball really well lately from deep. 8 threes were hit last night between Celeste Levengood, Molly Marceric, Jilly Stevens, Lily Belden, Violet Ellerbrock and Emily Schmidt. Emily Schmidt is shooting over 40% for the season from deep, one of the best in the area. The ladies have two more home games this week beginning with Indian Valley today, Wednesday, January 11.
