Chess Club off to a great start

Central Catholic is proud to offer a wide variety of student organizations and athletic teams. One of the benefits of our small school atmosphere is the relationships our faculty build with students which allow our staff to gauge student interest. This year, there has been a great deal of interest in chess.

As a result, Doc Lozier re-instituted our Chess Club. The club is intended for any Central student, of any skill level, from brand-new to well-seasoned players. Our Chess Club has a great turnout for their first meeting!

Any student, of any skill level, is encouraged to stop by, meetings will be every other Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. The meetings will be held in Doc Lozier’s class, room 16.
