Crusaders Football Serves Others

It's Friday, that means Friday night lights! Crusader Football travels to East Liverpool this evening.

While we love to watch them play, there is much more to Crusader football than games and practice. Football players also participate in a number of service projects.

Last month, the team went to the Pro Football Hall of Fame to volunteer at their Playmakers Football Camp. During the camp, players worked with special needs kids teaching the fundamentals, history, and values of the game. Our athletes spent time running stations and playing with participants.

In addition to this camp, the team hosted their own youth camp over the summer, they referee elementary football games, and go out into the community as needed to serve others. Being a Crusader athlete also means sharing your talents with others.
