Central Catholic's Holocaust Literature & History Class Learns From Survivors


Our Holocaust Literature & History Class recently had two Zoom sessions with children of Holocaust survivors. Students heard the story of Allen Binstock's mother and Steven Worthiem's father, both speakers are second-generation survivors. These discussions help our students to better understand a pivotal moment of history, allows them to reflect upon the responsibilities of individuals when confronting human rights violations, and allows them to think critically about the literature that results from moments of loss.
