Congratulations to the Seventh and Eighth Grade Power of the Pen Teams who competed virtually on Saturday, January 9. Team members watched the awards ceremony together at school on Saturday night 7:30 and there was lots to celebrate! Our seventh graders (Isabella Biedenbach, Madelyn Faltay, Emily Hallaman, Josh Jacob, Jillyan Stevens, and Marie Weller) came in first out of 18 teams and our eighth grade team (Grant Archer, Rachel Ezzo, John Fabek, Lexi Kerr, Ava Morman, and Ricky Salvino) placed fourth.

Seventh grader Madelyn Faltay placed first as an individual, Isabella Biedenbach placed second, and Marie Weller placed eleventh. Eighth grader Lexi Kerr placed third.

Seventh grader Emily Hallaman earned "Best of Round" honors for her story titled "The Cafe' Down the Street" and Madelyn Faltay received the Director's Choice Award for "The Sharpie Mishap."
