Winter sports are in full swing, and our teams are performing well.
We're proud to announce that our girls basketball team won a significant victory in the playoffs last night. K’lynn Carter was at the helm of the Knights, racking up an impressive 26 points and 9 rebounds. Jo Smith also shone on the court with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Ava Soehnlen contributed 8 points to the scoreboard. The team's defensive skills were on full display, with Londyn Frank and Jazelle Gibson each snatching 4 steals, and Ally Newman and Perazia Smith grabbing 3 rebounds each. The girls' outstanding performance has earned them a spot in the sectional Finals, where they will take the court again on Saturday at 1pm in Richmond Heights.
On another note, our wrestlers are heading to Cleveland tonight for a dual meet. We wish them good luck and are confident that Coach Hunter has prepared them well for the competition.
The winter sports action continues tomorrow as our boy's basketball team travels to Mogadore for their final game of the regular season. We have high hopes for our Knights as they take on their conference rivals, and we'll be cheering them on every step of the way.
Overall, we're thrilled with the success of our winter sports teams and are proud of their unwavering commitment to excellence. Let's keep the momentum going! #GoKnights #AquinasProud
