We would like to give a special congratulations to Mr. Joseph Vagedes on his retirement! In addition, we would like to congratulate him for being named the 2023 recipient of The Ohio High School Athletic Association's Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award.

For 42 years, Mr. Vagedes has been a true example of an educator dedicated to serving the Aquinas community and enriching the academic and personal lives of students. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Vagedes has held diverse roles, initially as a classroom teacher, followed by several years as principal. He ultimately chose to return to teaching for a more immersive role in the learning process. He consistently supports teachers, staff, and administration in their efforts to enhance the school's tradition of Truth, Scholarship, and Excellence. Mr. Vagedes is a pillar of the STA community, both in the past and for years to come.
