A 'Thank You' From St. Thomas Aquinas

As we finish up our school year, we want to offer a note of thanks to everyone who has helped make this school year a success, despite new challenges! We are proud of how our school family worked together. Our school is known for a partnership between our students, families, and staff. Family involvement has always been a special trait of Catholic schools and we have never been more grateful for that than we are this year.

Thank you, students!
You had to adapt quickly, missed out on special moments this year, and yet worked hard and kept a positive outlook. We appreciate the times we spent with you this year, whether it was in the classroom or from our homes on virtual gatherings. Often, you helped keep in perspective that our sacrifices were important to keep others safe. You amaze us!

Thank you, families!
Thank you for choosing to send your children to our school. We thank each family for being our partners in the educational process, more than ever before. Parents, guardians, grandparents, older siblings, and other family members supported our teachers in a number of ways and worked with our staff to make sure students had the tools they needed to successfully complete the school year.

Thank you, teachers!
Teachers had to shift their teaching style in a matter of days, ready to respond to the rapid changes prompted by COVID. Our students were ready for remote learning on day one, thanks to the forward-thinking of all of you. Perhaps more importantly, you went to great lengths to connect with your students. You held video meetings, shared prayers, offered resources to keep students engaged, and planned special messages, you explored many different ways to maintain your bonds with your students.

Thank you, administrators and administrative staff!
We want to thank the administrators at our Stark County Catholic Schools. This has been a year unlike any other and the administrators throughout the diocese came together to share ideas, best practices, and resources. You worked together to be sure each of our unique school communities had what they needed for success.

We have an amazing school community in came together when we needed to most.
